The date of this year's Reunion weekend is Friday, Saturday and Sunday the 10th, 11th and 12th of September.

Frank Saxon our former drummer in the 9th Lancers Band who had a serious accident  some two/three years ago and who spent a very long time in hospital has now acquired a computer to enable him to cope with the 21st century and expects his former colleagues  to contact him from time to time from the outside world. He is far from being fully recovered but has made tremendous strides in overcoming the difficulties of restricted mobility.His hotmail address is fkdsaxon@hotmail.co.uk so lets do as he asks and renew contact with a former popular member of our Band and Association.

Proposed Detmold trip in 2011: I have been in touch with the hotel in Detmold and the special rate tarriff would apply on the following dates: arrive 27th of October 2011 depart 30th October 2011 ( Wednesday to Sunday-4 days)-Air Berlin have not as yet planned for next year.Details will be available near the end of this year.Tariff single rooms 75euro per day including breakfast buffet.Double room 99euro per day including breakfast buffet.(cost for two people sharing a double room). I have been in consultation with the Hotel Rezidence in Detmold and the tariff is Single bedroom per person  Euro 75 for bed and breakfast per night and Double bedroom per night is Euro 99 for two persons including breakfast. For these terms and to fit in with Air Berlin flights we have to go on Wednesday the 13th of October 2010 and return on Sunday the 17th of October 2010.Anyone who wishes to go please let me have your names-at the moment it is purely a proposal to assess the feasibility of the trip.
